On
this website I mentioned software that helps to protect our pc
with Windows, after experimenting with different programs
I have concluded that the best is the combination of a good antivirus, a good Trojan detector and a good firewall.
After trying several free, I found that it is the best combination of AVG, Zone Alarm and RemoveIT.
If ignoring my advice and installed the AVG Free 8, I recommend that you UPGRADE to version 9 because I think version 8 is no longer effective for new threats. Version 8 recommended to install the new version but the update takes you to pay.
So to re-install for free, go back to downloading from the web and install it again. The new version replaces the old.
The only complaint I find this virus is the slowness with which the scanner performs daily, and the descent speed of Windows when performed, although the new version seems to have tried to optimize it. This version also supports Windows 7.

Be
careful that when you install the AVG it changes the default search engine
in your browser, I've found that after installing it if I wrote an
address in the address bar of Firefox would give me results provided by
Yahoo. If you want to have the results offered by Google have to do the
following:
Open a new window or tab in Firefox in the address bar, type "about: config", Firefox will display a warning ... do not be afraid and tell him I will wear carefully.
Find the "keyword.URL", the easiest way is to write in the "filter" the word "keyword"
Make double click "keyword.URL" and write "http://www.google.com/search?q =" (without quotes) if you want to change the form on the other I leave with some alternatives.

http://search.yahoo.com/search?p = for Yahoo
This also can use if you want to change the default search engine for the browser address bar.
